$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libpam-fprintd 

libpam-fprintd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libpam-fprintd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpam-fprintd *

You will get with libpam-fprintd package name, version, architecture and description in a table

libpam-fprintd package basic information:
